1985 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Standard Police 80 (FLHTP)

An original police motorcycle from Chicago, Illinois, imported to Australia in 2018. This collectors’ machine is one of 300 in the world and comes with complete set of Australian import approval documents. The FLHP Electra Glide Standard was produced by the Harley Davidson to fill a contract order for the Illinois Police Force.

Fitted with Police Motorola radio, flashing lights, fire extinguisher, radio box and double white walls, this authentic piece of history has all the gadgets that the 5 0 enjoyed. These machines were only used up to 10 000 miles until being upgraded. However, this is only to beginning for the evolution motor, which is well-known for its ability to reach 100 000 miles over a lifetime!

The air-cooled touring machine is spectacular to ride, a smooth cruiser that rides just as well as a 2010 model. General maintenance has been performed to sell the motorcycle – The fuel and oil lines have been completely drained, a new set of tyres fitted with white walls, and speedometer drive cable replaced.

A great piece for the collection for group ride days as well as cross country touring! Not called the King of the Highway for nothing.
